AIBOHPHOBIA

aibohphobia: fear of palindromes
I love this one, because just like hippopotomostrosesquippedaliaphobia, it's a word that literally is what it means.
Also, palindromes are awesome. In case you don't know, a palindrome is a word that, if you split it down the middle, it mirrors back on itself. You can read them right to left or left to right, and get the same word. So for example, if you have an 8-letter word, the last four letters would be the same as the first four, only backwards.
A few common examples would be "rotator" or "racecar." But palindromes don't have to be single words. A phrase can be a palindrome, too. Like this mind-boggling one I found from a web search: "Was it a cat I saw"
Come on, that's amazing, right?
Anyway, it's fitting that word for the fear of palindromes is itself a palindrome. Because seriously, why would anyone be afraid of palindromes? How aibohphobia is a thing, I'll never understand. But it sure is a cool word!
