ecphoneme: the proper (if outdated) name of the exclamation point

This was the first word I've drawn that I didn't stumble upon, but actively searched for! After learning of eroteme, aka the proper name of the question mark , I was certain it had to have a big brother! Surely the exclamation point had a proper, long-forgotten name as well!

It took some digging, but I'm delighted to reveal ecphoneme to the world!

Out loud, it's ECK𐫴foh𐫴neem!

Immediately tell everyone you know! Go ahead, I'll wait!

Will ecphoneme's existence change the very way we talk?! Will its easier and faster-to-say three syllables replace the cumbersome five we currently use to describe the most exciting of all grammatical marks?!

Only if you spread the word!

Art note: Since I used a circle motif with the drawing and typography on Eroteme, I thought straight lines and cube-shaped type were in order for Ecphoneme!

Incidentally, there are twelve ecphonemes in this post, counting the two at the end of this sentence!!
